Exhibitions and Accolades 2009
Members of the Syracuse Camera Club regularly exhibit at local and regional venues like the Delavan Art Gallery, the Syracuse Technology Garden, the Warehouse Gallery, the
OCPL Central Library, the Liverpool Library, and other art spaces.
Exhibitions
Syracuse Camera Club Members:
- Jim Budrakey at the
Fayetteville Free
Library. The exhibit Beware of Attack Gardener runs
through the month of February.
- Jim Budrakey at the
Barnes &
Noble (Dewitt). The exhibit Anachronistic Portraits of an
Elizabethan Age runs
through the month of July.
- Jim Budrakey at the
Beau Quest Studio. The exhibit
The Majical Box with the
Glass Eye runs
through the month of July.
- Jim Budrakey at the
Mundy Library. The exhibit In Days of Old When Knights Were
Bold runs
through the months of July and August.
- Wendy Moleski at
Barnes &
Noble (Dewitt). The exhibit runs through the month of September.
- Bob Gates at the
Edgewood Gallery. The exhibit started August 7 and runs through
September 11.
- Diana Whiting at the
Limestone Art Gallery. The exhibit started August 21 and runs
through September 18.
- Greg Moore at the
Syracuse Technology Garden. The exhibit started on September 2 and
is expected to run through the end of the year.
- Pamela Paul at the
Hazard Branch Library. The
exhibit
Through My Eyes
runs through the month of September.
- Louise Davis and Marie
Ryan at the
St. John's Pottery. Representing the
CNY Art Guild
the show started on November 15 and run through December 18.
- Bob Gates at the
Gandee
Gallery. The exhibit Holiday Show 09 started on
November 19 and runs through January 17, 2010.
Notable Events:
- Beth Leonard at the
May Memorial. She will present
an one hour
slide show Glacier Island: The Magic of South Georgia
on November 8th at 7pm. Beth and her partner Evans have sailed
around the world twice. The public is welcome to this one-hour
family-friendly, animal-packed slide show. Suggested donation: $8
adults, $4 child, $20 family. All donations benefit May Memorial.
- Syracuse Photographers Association
2nd annual exhibit at the
Westcott Community Center. The
exhibit
Viewpoints II 16x20 will feature 16x20 framed photographs
from SCC members Susan Berry, Steve Blind, Jim Eber,
Greg Moore, Steve Pearlman and
Richard Schultz plus other SPA members. The exhibit
will run from November 19 to January 11, 2010. An opening
reception will be held November 20th from 6pm to 8pm. The public is
welcome to attend.
