I really dig the layers in this image, Chris. A nice exposure in this lighting too. This, my first submission, was processed in darktable. I always try to get images from DT that are equal to Lightroom, but my success rate is <20%. #shrug Log in to Reply
The cropping was a really good idea! It didn’t need the red distracting coat of the boy facing away Log in to Reply
Thanks, Chris. I cringed as I did so, thinking to myself, “I hope this isn’t the kid that is most meaningful to him.” 🙂 Log in to Reply
Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. I enjoy these challenges because I have to figure out how to do things I haven’t encountered in my own work. Log in to Reply
I appreciate the change in the boy’s jacket’s color. I prefer this crop too, if not for the fact that he is gazing out of frame. #torn Log in to Reply

Nicely done cropping does help as the boy in the red jacket is a distraction

I like the more natural coloring and the tighter crop on this one. Nicely done!
