SCC Member Guy Swenson was chosen as a co-winner of the 2021 AIPG Member Photo Challenge. Guy’s winning photo Yellowstone Abstract was used as for the Jan/Feb/Mar 2022 issue cover for The Professional Geologist magazine.
Guy: This is an image of part of the wall of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is known for the wonderful colors of the canyon walls caused by hydrothermal alteration of the rocks.
